My Home, My City Essay

My standtown, The Windy City as approximately may call it, is the triplet largest urban center in the United States. Where I call home some of the worlds biggest names do to, from Barack Obama, to organized crime stereotype Al Capone, down to one of the NBAs best, Derrick Rose. The United Center is the home of the 2013 Stanley Cup Champions, the Blackhawks. For the sports fans of my urban center, we know that the last time the Blackhawks won the championship, the Bears went to Super bowling ball XLI. The United Center is also home to the Bulls. Every year, every season, my city holds a host of specials events for the city, and sometimes people ejaculate from every while of the world just for that special event. In the middle of August, there is a free Air and Water Show held on the lakefront of North bridle-path Beach. This is a time, when different types of planes from the Army, National Guard, and sometimes even Wars fly approximately the city and show off their tricks. 2 01 East Randolph Street, is the corner where Millennium approximate range sits just off Michigan Ave.Millennium Park is filled with architecture, embellish design, and art that allows you to actually touch and feel the piece of work. It is the Town Square of my city, and a place where tourist come to see for themselves Throughout the summer for a week, the downtown streets are jam off for The Taste. The Taste is an outdoor festival with the diversity of the citys dining community. The variety of food served is also enjoyed by medicament and exciting activities for the whole family. Our forms of public transportation, pertain to the CTA known as the L. The L is a train system that runs from the south, north, east, and west side of my city, and if you indirect request to go a further distance, you would take the Metra. My city is an overall with child(p) city, but its not the saf est.
